Thanksgiving 2008

This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family at my parents cabin in Garden Valley. We had a great time. All the family was there. Mom made a great Thanksgiving meal. Thank You Mom. We spent five days there and it was so nice to relax and not have cell service. We really had a wonderful time and we have so much to be grateful for. We really have been blessed as a family.

Quilt for Mom and Dad

For those of you who know me, you know that my brother Blake passed away this past April. When my brother Joey was visiting my Mom and Dad this summer my Mom asked Joey if he wanted any of Blakes old clothes. Joey decided that he wanted to take some of the clothes. On his drive home he told his wife Michelle that he wanted to make a Quilt for my Mom and Dad out of Blakes old shirts and pants. Joeys wife Michelle did all of the major work. Thank You Michelle! Joey gave the quilt to Mom and Dad the night before Thanksgiving. Mom and Dad loved it! The quilt is beautiful! We miss our Blakey so much! We love you Blake!

It's a jumping "Ladybug"

The "Ladybug" is still jumping.

This is the cutest "Ladybug" I have ever seen.

Look it is a "Yankees Baseball Player" Derek Jeter if I am not mistaken.

She is the best looking "M & M" I have ever seen. How about you?

We had a fun Halloween. Chloe was a "Ladybug" she was so excited to go trick or treating. She would run up to the door and drop her bucket and say "Trick or Treat" She was not afraid of anything. Carly was "Hannah Montana". She was really looking forward to dressing up, but when the Hannah hair would not lay flat, she was ticked. She finally forgot about it when people commented on how cute she looked. Dylan and Chandler do not really get into Halloween. They do however like to get candy so they felt that they best dress up. They did not know quite what to dress up as until the last minute. They ransacked the costume bin to see what they could come up with. Dylan ofcourse wanted to wear some sports attire and Chandler wore the M & M that she wore on Halloween when she was six. Even Scott dressed up. He wears his silly wig every Halloween. We had a fun day and night!
